Bishop Howard of the Shepard View Ward in Farmington (our fabulous ward of ten years) gave James the opportunity to speak in Sacrament and have a "Utah farewell". We moved to San Antonio last July so it had been 10 months since seeing our ward family. It was so great to be back in our old ward and to have James speak. It felt like old times. Shelley Smith spoke with James, her son Taylor is serving in the Paris France Mission and entered the MTC in March. After the meeting the Miller family opened their home for us to have a Mexican Fiesta and celebrate James. Brad & Brenda were amazing and ended up cooking all the eggs for the breakfast tacos. Shawn and I had planned on doing the cooking....what were we thinking? Thank you to all the ladies who helped do the assembly line of breakfast tacos for us and allowing us to mingle and catch up with everyone. Thank you Brad and Brenda for all your time and effort in making it such a special day for James. We love your family!
